Patricia Maloney

Patricia Maloney is a residential Realtor and real estate advisor with the East Bay firm The Grubb Company and a longtime advocate for Bay Area visual artists. Over a 20-year career as a curator, critic, publisher, and arts administrator, she supported artist-centered communities through roles including publisher emeritus of Daily Serving | Art Practical (which she founded in 2009 and expanded internationally in 2013), senior correspondent and producer for the contemporary art podcast Bad at Sports, associate professor of Visual and Critical Studies at California College of the Arts, and executive director of Southern Exposure in San Francisco from 2016 to 2018. Her curatorial experience includes positions at Ampersand International Arts, UC Berkeley Art Museum’s MATRIX Program, the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, and the Museum of Modern Art’s International Program in New York. She holds an MA in contemporary art theory and history from the San Francisco Art Institute.
