Qiana Ellis

AST Programs Manager

Qiana (she/her) is a Bay Area–based artist, educator, and community-oriented creative professional. She currently serves as Programs Manager at Artist Space Trust, where she develops and implements educational and outreach programs supporting affordable housing access for artists across the Bay Area. She also manages administrative and financial operations, communications, and the NCLT/AST CalHome Down Payment Assistance program.

Previously, she contributed her expertise in creative engagement, program development, and production as Open Arts Lab Coordinator at Meta, inspiring multidisciplinary collaboration and hands-on learning opportunities for their global workforce. In addition to her arts administrative and education work, Qiana teaches metalsmithing and jewelry-making at The Crucible, mentoring students and promoting art as a tool for community connection. Her work bridges artistic practice, education, and social impact, reflecting a deep commitment to sustaining inclusive, creative communities.
